Global Prayer Walk: Standing in the Gap for Our Communities

In 2023 and 2024, the United Kingdom has witnessed a troubling rise in various forms of violence and crime, with children tragically falling victim to knife and gun violence, gang activity, and more. Each life lost or harmed represents a family devastated and a community wounded. No parent should endure the heart-wrenching pain of losing a child to a senseless crime.

Event Overview

Godly Woman of Substance is launching the Global Prayer Walk to stand in solidarity with parents who have lost children to violence and to intercede for the safety of all our children and communities. This initiative aims to mobilize a global army of prayer warriors who will walk through their neighbourhoods, prophesying, decreeing, and declaring the word of God over the land. Together, we will uproot and cancel the evil agendas, pronouncements, and plans of the enemy that threaten our nations, starting with our local communities.

Mission

Our mission is clear: to raise a united front in prayer, covering every village, town, county, and nation with the power of God’s word. By standing in the gap, we believe we can bring about the transformation and healing that our lands so desperately need. This is the time to claim God’s promises, as stated in 2 Chronicles 7:14

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
